Lamborghini 400 GT (1966-1968)
This Lamborghini model was simply the 350 GT, but with a much larger V12 engine. Thanks to its larger V12 engine, this model was capable of producing 320 bhp. The second version of the 400 GT production car was also called the 400 GT 2+2, which features slightly different exterior designs like a different roofline and the presence of a slightly different sheetmetal.Just like the original Lamborghini 350 GT, the first production version of this model was introduced at the Geneva Auto Show. Aside from a much bigger engine, the Lamborghini 400 GT was designed with a larger space to accommodate a roomy interior. Another difference with the original 350 GT was the addition of paired headlights. The addition of these headlights was for safety purpose to comply with existing safety regulations. Materials-wise, the 400 GT features a steel body instead of the traditional aluminum. The GT 400 is now a favored model during auctions, and the highest bid so far was priced at $522,500.
