The C1 Ariete is Italy’s version of a dependable main battle tank. This main battle tank has been designed and manufactured by Iveco-Fiat and Oto Melara to become battle-ready, whatever the time or weather conditions. This main battle tank is fitted with the most modern digital imaging, optical and fire control systems that allow this tank to fight day and night, and even fire ammunition even on the move. To ensure that the tanks were designed and manufactured to specs, all tank prototypes were subjected to intensive testing, and were made to travel a combined 16,000 km.
