T-84 Oplot-M (Ukraine)
11. T-84 Oplot-M (Ukraine)
Initially part of the Soviet Union, Ukraine has established its own government, and has succeeded in building its own military arsenal. The separation of Ukraine from the Soviet also yielded a positive result- Kharkov, a tank-producing facility becomes part of its operations. in an effort to build its own fleet of tanks, Ukraine decided to improve on the T-80 in terms of performance, and the result was the release of the T-84, which eventually became the T-84 Oplot M. The design is similar to other Soviet-era tanks, with the use of 125-mm smooth bore gun.
To increase the efficiency in firing ammunition, the crew of the battle tank use panoramic and thermal imaging sights. For protection, the tank is fitted with an armor and a counter-measure system to confuse enemy missiles.
