Type 99 is China’s version of a massive main battle tank, and the A2 has been around since 2001. This tank has been available in different versions and variants, and the latest variant to serve the Chinese army is the Type A2. For this latest version of the tank, the turret front volume has been increased, and the ERA redesigned. There’s a big chance that the early versions of the Type 99 tanks were also upgraded to the A2 variant. This tank also includes a GPS navigation system, and the battle management system. The protection for this tank is not just found outside- the manufacture also ensures that there’s protection inside, particularly in the turret.
