1: Porsche 996 911
The 996 generation of 911 is the most hated generation. It was the first water-cooled, so the purists hate it, and many criticize it for its headlight design. Here at unlimited revs, we don’t care about either of those things. At the end of the day, the 911 is a 911 and therefore is a force to be reckoned with. Nothing quite lives up to the 911. Unlimited Revs has spent some time in a 996 before, and they are truly fantastic cars. Particularly when you consider the price. With a couple minor fixes, 996’s can be made into incredibly reliable, amazing sports cars, and that is why it is number one on our list.
