Koenigsegg CCR (242 mph)
Manufactured by Koenigsegg, the CCR is powered a twin-turbocharged by 4.7-liter V8 engine and 6-speed manual transmission, with a 0–62 mph sprint in just 3.7 sec. Its top speed is recorded 241.01 mph (387.87 km/h). This mid-engined sports car was Koenigsegg’s earlier generation of the cars they are building today. The CCR was soon replaced by the CCX, and then by the current Agera. This Swedish high-performance sport car builder claims that its new Agera can cross the the top speed of 270 mph, though it has not been tried yet.
McLaren F1 (240 mph)
Designed and manufactured by McLaren Automotive, a British high-performance sports car manufacturer, the F1 set records as the World’s fastest car in 1998. Powered by 6.1L V12 with 0–60 mph sprint in 3.2 seconds, the engine produced the top speed of 204mph. Its unique aerodynamics and carbon-fiber body ensures downright speed and performance, making it one of the coolest cars ever built.
