3. SSC Ultimate Aero
For a moment, the SSC Ultimate Aero was identified as the world’s fastest car, beating out the previous record of Bugatti Veyron. It was in 2007 when the Veyron was king when it comes to speed, but with a validated speed of 256.14 mph, it made the list of Guinness. But in 2013 when the Veyron SS was introduced and made the new king of speed, Aero was once again made as the world’s fastest but in another twist of fate for the manufacturer, the issue was debated and reviewed and in the end the title was reverted back to Bugatti Veyron SS. When the Aero was made available to the public, the supercar was not fitted with drive aids including traction control and ABS brakes to deliver a more authentic handling and driving performance.
