With nearly 28,000 thefts in 2013, the Chevrolet pick-up has managed to join the hot list. After two dominant family sedans, it’s only but natural to expect a pick-up to be included in the list, thanks to function, brawn and aesthetics. While Dodge and Ford consistently rate higher in industry reviews, Chevy trucks particularly the Silverado are considered solid work trucks thus putting it on the hot list of car thieves. In 2013, 27,809 Chevy Silverados were taken never to be returned again, making the Chevy truck as the most stolen truck in the list.
