8. 1985 Yugo GV
Imported from Yugoslavia, the 1985 Yugo GV is another example of another car that failed miserably on aesthetics and performance. When it comes introduced in the US in the 80s, consumers ordered their Yugos thanks primarily to price and the exterior design is a different matter. There’s a boxy car design, small wheels, carpet that acts as a standard feature and engines that fail even before drivers can hit 25,000 miles. There are a number of reasons why the Yugo often lands in the ‘worst lists’, and one reason is about its forgettable design.
