4. Mercedes-AMG GT3
Here’s another potential ‘monstrous’ presence on track- the Mercedes-AMG GT3. This latest baby from the high-performance car division of Mercedes is packed with equipment and features to make it as one of the best new models to try on track, and according to company engineers the Mercedes GT3 is expected to comply with FIA GT3 race regulations. Similar to the SLS AMG GT, the recently-unveiled Mercedes-AMG GT3 will use the AMG 6.3-liter V8 engine and a 6-speed sequential racing gear box that can help distribute the car’s weight. The car liberally use carbon fibre material primarily on the side walls, skirts, front wing, doors and engine to ensure a lighter performer on track. And since the Mercedes-AMG GT3 is destined for on-track performance, the engineers made sure that the driver is protected in case of accidents by adding the steel roll-cage.
