Wow, who knew? We haven’t said much about the electric part of hybrids but we will now. This very stylish American made entrant on our list of Top Ten Most Fuel Efficient Vehicles Under $30,000 is made by the venerable Ford Motor Company. This vehicle can do a full charge in only 2.5 hours, and if you know hybrids/electrics that is fast! Plus the dash panel is a little hypnotic and our tech specialist is into that kind of thing. In fact he may still be sitting in one down at the dealership!
You probably want to know what we liked about it: style, function and price. You can take one home for under $25,000 and get enough bells and whistles to wake the sleeping neighbors. Hands free rear gate, digital interface (it even includes its own LCD screen “how to” guides), and plenty of room for 5 people. This is a yes in our book with all this at 42 miles per gallon on the open road.
