Created by Henry Leland and founded from the remnants of the Henry Ford Company in 1902, Cadillac is a now division of General Motors that produces and sells luxury vehicles worldwide that is headquartered in New York. This is the second-oldest American car brand only preceded by fellow GM marque Buick. Cadillac has been a conspicuous luxury American car brand, which has permanently marked its place in luxury categories.

Although Cadillac’s major markets are the United States, Canada, and China, its branded vehicles are distributed in 34 additional markets across the globe. There has been a significant hike in sells since 2007 and over 190,000 are sold worldwide. With such an increasing sales numbers, Cadillac has become one of the most successful luxury production brands that claimed the Royal Automobile Club of England’s Dewar Trophy, which made it only American car brand to do so.
