The Audi brand is also part of the prime fleet of Dubai Police Force and it seems that in the crime-fighting program of Dubai’s elite, it isn’t enough to have just one Audi- there are two Audi R8s in their parking lot. The Audi R8 is a favored road car for the best reasons- brawn, performance and styling. Based on the Lamborghini Gallardo, the car was made possible by quattro GmbH and based on the Audi Space Frame. Now on it second generation as unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the Audi R8 has positioned itself as a serious mean machine on the road. In short, the Audi R8 is a practical supercar with the V8 and the V10 versions achieving 60 mph in 4.3 and 3.6 seconds complete with sounds that can command awe and attention. So it’s no wonder why the Audi R8 has remained a top favorite by critics, and perhaps the reason too why the Dubai Police needs two Audi R8!
