5. 2017 GMC Sierra 1500
You will be forgiven for thinking that the Sierra 1500 is similar to the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. In built and style, the GMC Sierra and the Silverado clearly shares a few similarities and that’s great things for full-size truck enthusiasts. This full-size truck is actually a ‘richer’ and more upscale version of the Silverado. But one needs to go beyond the styling and the upscale looks of the vehicle to understand it better, and see why it’s being compared with the Silverado. The Sierra 1500 and the Silverado actually shares the same base engine- the 285-horsepower V6 engine. Other optional engines are also available, including the 355-horsepower V8 and the 420-horsepower V8 engines.
The Sierra enters the 2017 edition with slight changes and modifications. This year, drivers can expect from cap-less fuel filler and a low-speed automated braking system. Also, parents can now enjoy the new technology from GM, the Teen Driver technology, that empowers parents and learn more from the driving habits of their teens.
