This may seem like an intelligent choice for many but due to its many drawbacks; this vehicle immediately lost its appeal among car shoppers. The compact car has been at the receiving end of many complains including its size, a poorly calibrated transmission system and a fuel efficiency that is not competitive in its class. With a respectable 37 mpg, this number pales in comparison with other leading compact cars in the market. And with an increasing number of compact cars that are more affordable and offers spacious interiors, the Scion iQ silently lost its share in the market.
