AMC Pacer
Manufactured and marketed from 1975 and 1980 by the American Motors Corporation, this two-door compact automobile is an abiding emblem of 1970s bad taste. It was first duffed to be the next movement of car design, but was soon mocked as a rolling fishbowl. The Pacer’s odd body design: rounded shape and large glass area, asymmetric doors, were highly criticized by many automobile enthusiasts.
