2. Decide whether you want a new make and model or a used car.

new and used car
Price is often the main determinant for many car owners when deciding on their next car purchase. When setting the budget, you’ll also need to decide if the budget can accommodate a new make or model, or just a used car. While a used car will come in cheaper, keep in mind that there are risks and limitations associated with buying a used car. Keep in mind that buying a used car means you are buying it ‘as is’, thus you take on the risks associated with the car. In a new car purchase, you have a safety net in the form of warranty but this isn’t available in a used car. If you decide to go with a used car, make sure to cover a few information including previous owners, maintenance history and past problems. Make sure to let an experienced mechanic inspect the used car before saying ‘yes’.
