Produced for the American market by John DeLorean’s DeLorean Motor Company from 1981 to 1983, the DeLorean DMC-12 is a 2-door coupé sports car. Powered by a 2,849 cc PRV ZMJ-159 V6 engine featured a pioneering fiberglass chassis and gull-wing doors with body covered with brushed stainless steel. It became a celebrated car after appearing in the Hollywood movie Back to the Future trilogy.
