Lamborghini Jalpa (1981–1988)
The Lamborghini Jalpa is based on the previous Silhouette, and was developed as an affordable alternative for car buyers and investors who want to buy a Lamborghini. The name of the model is based on another breed of fighting bulls, the Jalpa Kandachia. This model is powered by a 3.5-liter V8 engine, that’s capable of producing 255 horsepower. The Lamborghini Jalpa has a top speed of 234 kph, and can move from0 to 60 mph in just 6.8 seconds (Classic & Sports Car magazine). The Jalpa undewent a number of changes including the replacement of plastic taillights in 1984.
