6: Not Stopping Before Shifting To Reverse
For whatever reason, people fail to come to a complete stop before they shift into reverse. Every time you do this, you cause the teeth of the gear to wear away a little bit. In the short run, it isn’t much of a problem, but eventually, you will wear the teeth off of the gear, then you won’t be able to shift into gear.
