Built by Pontiac of General Motors, Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is a pony, muscle car that was produced between 1967 and 2002, spanning over four distinct generations. Built on the F-body platform, the Trans Am was a speciality package for the Firebird with enhanced specifications that featured various powerstrains and could generate 220 bhp to 325 bhp and the top speed of 140 mph to 160 mph. These cars from Trans Am series were featured in many popular Hollywood movies in Smokey, Rocky II, Bandit (1977), etc. A modified third-generation Trans Am so called KITT was also used in 1980s one of the well-known and beloved TV series Night Rider.
