5.Shelby AC Cobra
The Shelby AC Cobra is one of those classic cars that are treasured both for looks and value. This was fitted with a Ford V8 engine, and was designed as a ‘Corvette-beater’. One of the most popular versions of the AC Cobra is the 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake which made history in 2007 when this was sold at an auction for a staggering amount of $5.5 million. According to the organizers of the auction, this was one of the two AC Cobra’s produced, and was used as the personal vehicle of Carroll Shelby. Judging by the looks of this AC Cobra, and the promised 800 hp, there’s no denying that this is one of those insane and cool cars of the past.
