Tahiti is the biggest island in French Polynesia, the South Pacific archipelago. Molded like a figure-8, it’s separated into Tahiti Nui (the bigger, western area) and Tahiti Iti (the eastern landmass). With dark sand shorelines, tidal ponds, waterfalls and 2 wiped out volcanoes, it’s a prevalent get-away destination.
