9. Dodge Journey
One issue raised against the Dodge Journey is the choice of a base engine, the 2.4-liter 173 hp and 4-clinder engine that’s mated with a 4-speed automatic transmission. This engine produces less desirable results, but things will improve a little with the choice of an optional 3.6-liter 283-hp V6 engine. But this optional engine still cannot save the Dodge Journey from being included in this list. Consumer Reports call the Journey a less reliable vehicle and ALG added its voice by saying that this model has below average resale value.
